CACHE MEMORY

Modified on Sun, 28 Nov, 2021 at 7:47 PM

Cache Memory is a special very high-speed memory. It is used to speed up and synchronize with high-speed CPU and acts as a buffer between RAM and the CPU by storing the frequently requested urls and paths, so that the loading time decreases and the site is available faster.

Whenever there is an upgrade / deployment or any changes in the portal the older cache files which are already stored in the cache memory of your browser will try to load the site as per the previous saved path and hence not allowing to load the page properly as some of these files might have undergone updates /changes.

Hence it is recommended to periodically clear the browser cache.
